Broadband Internet access in North American households has increased from 29 percent at the end of 2004 to 41 percent in 2006 according to "North American Consumer Technology Adoption Study 2006" a Forrester Research study.While adoption of broadband services continues to increase, telcos like phone, broadband, and digital TV services provider Windstream Communications are forced to deal with the issue of servicing both tech savvy users as well as nontechnical customers.The company was inundated with high call volumes and lacked any insight into customers PCs; no automated self-services options were available to customers and no other tech support besides calling Windstreams call center.David Fritz, senior vice president of IT at Windstream said that that the company had an "installation process that did not check the customer's PC qualifications and did not provide a smooth automated process to establish Windstream ISP services or email accounts."To remedy the problem Windstream chose the Motive High-Speed Data solution, management automation software that has been renamed Broadband Check-up Center, according to Ben Geller, Motives director of strategic marketing. The company gradually installed the software from February 2005 through June 2005."By providing zero-touch activation, an easy-to-use self-service capability that allows subscribers to turn up high-speed data services themselves without having to call a CSR or request a truck roll for an on site technician, Motive enables carriers like Windstream to provide a consistently high-quality service experience for all their subscribers," Geller says.The results of the software implementation have been positive. Incoming calls to the call center have decreased 38 percent, customer service reps call handling rates rose 125 percent allowing them to handle 50 percent more accounts over the previous year. Also service calls have dropped because of the reliability of remote diagnosis and problem resolution."Windstream is working to encourage approximately 200,000 legacy broadband customers to adopt Motive technology," Fritz says, and for the future, "we want to use Motive's diagnostic capabilities to gather even more data about the customer's processing environment to help service reps resolve issues even more efficiently and effectively."

Skype Extends VoIP Software Client to Windows Smartphone Users

Recently released online VoIP client, Skype 2.2, has become one of the first pieces of internet voice applications to work on Windows Mobile smartphones.

Previous versions of Skype software had been available for Wi-Fi-enabled Windows Pocket PCs, but not smartphones. The beta of version 2.2 is available for about 120 different Windows-based mobile devices, and allows users to pay for and use services like SkypeIn and SkypeOut from the palms of their hands.

New features of Skype 2.2 include an enhanced interface to show presence status of contacts, notification of missed calls, and new voicemail messages.

Skype has already seen more than 5 million downloads of its Pocket PC software, and hopes to achieve even more success with the smartphone version.

Google Invades The Airwaves

Google announced in a corporate blog that it has officially begun
beta testing its Audio Ads marketing platform. Earlier this year,
the company acquired dMarc Broadcasting as part of its plans to
crossover into radio advertising.

Google has made waves in recent months in its efforts to expand
beyond the online marketplace into traditional advertising
platforms such as print and radio. The strategy, bold to be sure,
has been met with both praise and skepticism from industry analysts
and prominent bloggers alike.

At the Inside Adwords Blog, a member of the Audio Ads team gives
a little more elaboration on the company's vision for the project:

"Over the last year, we've been partnering with both terrestrial
and satellite radio stations across the U.S. so that our
advertisers have many options for broadcasting their ads --
whether it's a Country station in Tyler, Texas or an Adult
Contemporary station in New York City."

"Currently, there are hundreds of stations to choose from and we
hope to grow the list over the coming year. Our broadcast partners
are looking forward to making their ad inventories available to

For those of you who are sick of getting stuck with a seat by the aircraft toilet (again), there is deliverance in the form of SeatGuru.com -a know-all site that enables you to check the cabin
configuration before you fly, so you can decide in advance which row and seat number to request.

The idea came from Seattle businessman and frequent flier Matthew Daimler. "In 2001, my job required extensive travel between San Francisco and Europe," he says. "I quickly noticed that there were a handful of prime seats and terrible seats in each cabin ... I started to post my observations on the Internet and there was immediate interest." Eight million visitors later and the site is providing seating information for 29 major carriers. SeatGuru.com uses color coding and icons to denote facilities such as laptop power connections and different types of entertainment systems, as well as to rate overall comfort level (based on factors like legroom, reclinability and noise).

We decided to test fly the site for ourselves and found that couples traveling aboard a Singapore Airlines Boeing 747-400 Version 3 can't beat the adjacent seats A and C in rows 61 to 63. These are rare rows of two seats each, with extra storage space between the seats and the window. The guru does warn that the extra gap may get in the way of snoozing against the window pane -- but it sure beats being stuck by that queue for the toilet.

Say goodbye to exorbitant prices charged by airlines for using their satellite phones during a flight. More and more travelers are realizing that technology that works on terra firma is just as good in mid-air. Thanks to the recent boom in onboard broadband wireless Internet access currently offered by 10 carriers including SAS, Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa passengers can now simply log onto Skype or other Internet voice services and make encrypted phone calls, all at 12,000 meters. The cost of accessing the Internet is determined by your carrier (Lufthansa, for example, charges $9.95 per hour or $26.95 per flight). After logging on, all that's required is a headset. "I have gone from [up to] $7 a minute [in satellite-phone charges] to a free download and a once-only connection fee," says London media consultant and frequent flier James Forbes. "What's more, all the functions of Skype work, so someone calling my London or New York SkypeIn number can get me over Greenland." With several operators from Austrian Airlines to Air China now scrambling to offer Internet access, the air in an aircraft cabin could soon be as thick with annoying phone conversations as that in any commuter train. But look at it this way: it saves you from having to make small talk with your neighbor.

Voice over Internet Protocol (also called VoIP, IP Telephony, Internet telephony, and Digital Phone) is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or any other IP-based network. The voice data flows over a general-purpose packet-switched network, instead of traditional dedicated, circuit-switched voice transmission lines.

Protocols used to carry voice signals over the IP network are commonly referred to as Voice over IP or VoIP protocols. They may be viewed as commercial realizations of the experimental Network Voice Protocol (1973) invented for the ARPANET.

Voice over IP traffic might be deployed on any IP network, including ones lacking a connection to the rest of the Internet, for instance on a private building-wide LAN.

H.323

H.323 is an umbrella recommendation from the ITU-T, that defines the protocols to provide audio-visual communication sessions on any packet network.

It is currently implemented by various Internet real-time applications such as NetMeeting and GnomeMeeting (the latter using the OpenH323 implementation).

It is a part of the H.32x series of protocols which also address communications over ISDN, PSTN or SS7. H.323 is commonly used in Voice over IP (VoIP, Internet Telephony, or IP Telephony) and IP-based videoconferencing.

Wi-Fi (or Wi-fi, WiFi, Wifi, wifi) is a set of product compatibility standards for wireless local area networks (WLAN) based on the IEEE 802.11 specifications. New standards beyond the 802.11 specifications, such as 802.16(WiMAX), are currently in the works and offer many enhancements, anywhere from longer range to greater transfer speeds.

Wi-Fi was intended to be used for mobile devices and LANs, but is now often used for Internet access. It enables a person with a wireless-enabled computer or personal digital assistant (PDA) to connect to the Internet when in proximity of an access point. The geographical region covered by one or several access points is called a hotspot.

Contrary to popular belief, Wi-Fi did not originally stand for Wireless-Fidelity. The term "Wi-Fi" was developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance along with the Interbrand Corporation (here) to describe WLAN products that are based on the IEEE 802.11 standards. Phil Belanger of the Wi-Fi Alliance quoted, "Wi-Fi and the yin yang style logo were invented by Interbrand. We (the founding members of the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance, now called the Wi-Fi Alliance) hired Interbrand to come up with the name and logo that we could use for our interoperability seal and marketing efforts. We needed something that was a little catchier than “IEEE 802.11b Direct Sequence”. Later, the term "Wireless Fidelity" was coined with the marketing of a new tag line, "The Standard for Wireless Fidelity." But that was soon dropped due to confusion among customers and consumers.

Certified products can use the official Wi-Fi logo, which indicates that the product is interoperable with any other product also showing the logo.

The best bank websites go beyond bill-paying and balance updates to let you check your credit card accounts, link banking and brokerage accounts, make trades, and get free stock quotes. Some update account information in real time, and not overnight.

SAFETY AND SERVICE

Is web banking safe? The general consensus is “Yes”. All banks use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption in the interactive section of their sites. For even tighter security, use either Navigator 4.0 or Explorer 4.0 or later versions, which are capable of 128-bit encryption. Check the padlock symbol on your Taskbar. If you get a message saying the browser can’t communicate with the site, don’t do business there. Be sure to grill banks on customer service: How quickly do they respond to e-mail? How do you reach a live person? If you find that your bills have not been paid, how will the bank respond to your query?

The biggest security breaches come after setting up super-secure encrypted and password-protected banking accounts, when the people enter their security information into computer and walk away from the desk to have lunch or run an errand. To keep your banking details safe, make sure you always log off whenever you are away from your PC.

Make sure your bank has enough live support. Accidentally sent someone the wrong amount, or discovered that checks have not been going out when they should? Make sure that you keep backups of all your banking information. Filing paper copies away doesn’t hurt either.

Where VoIP technology fits into the corporate enterprise

In recent years, the corporate world has acquired significant benefits from the applications and products produced by the convergence of voice and data technologies: Internet protocol (IP) telephony; Internet telephone software; and virtual private networks (VPNs).

One of the newer technologies spawned from the integration of voice and data is the ability to transmit voice over data networks. Referred to as Voice over IP (or VoIP, for short), this technology enables voice to be carried over IP-based, packet-switched local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs).

VoIP holds enormous potential that many companies find compelling. Consider, for example, that in a traditional circuit-switched network, establishing a connection creates a dedicated, end-to-end channel for the duration of the communication. As a result, any unused bandwidth remains just that — unused — until the call is released.

By comparison, packet-switched communications allow bandwidth to be shared among various types of communications, filling the available bandwidth capacity more effectively than in circuit-switched networks. Moreover, the ability to combine all traffic onto a single network represents considerable cost savings in the physical enterprise. Another key VoIP advantage attracting significant attention is the ability to conduct long-distance calls while bypassing the public switch telephone network (PSTN) and its associated toll charges.

Quality Issues

While the current and potential benefits afforded by VoIP are compelling, the feasibility of having voice transported over networks that also carry data and video traffic raise a number of quality issues that must be addressed before VoIP is embraced as a mainstream business tool. One of the key quality issues that have received significant attention centers on voice connections over the Internet.

VoIP technology made its first big splash with the arrival of Internet telephony. Consumers got excited by the prospect of using a PC and an Internet connection to dial friends and family members anywhere in the world and talk for hours, without having to pay long-distance charges.

Users expected such connections to provide the same voice quality as the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Unfortunately, the protocols for defining a data network were designed for non-realtime data traffic, where network congestion results in dropped packets and requests for retransmissions.

While this approach works well with data, it wreaks havoc with voice calls, where dropped and delayed voice packets force callers to experience disorienting repetitions or gaps. These behaviors are not acceptable for users who expect the same voice quality of the PSTN and will not tolerate poor performance from a VoIP network.

The secret to success

For corporations interested in deploying VoIP technology, the success or failure of their venture will depend, in large part, on the performance of the network elements that carry and route the voice packets.

Gateways are required to perform the conversion of voice to IP packets for applications that cross between the PSTN and VoIP networks. In addition to the concern on network element performance, these gateways must process voice reliably under extreme loads.

A standard is needed — and more

Having a reliable standard is vital with a technology as new and formative as VoIP. The motivation for developing such a standard provide the positive attributes of a centralized control architecture (such as scalability, carrier grade reliability, and PSTN regulatory compliance) while, at the same time, encouraging greater multi-vendor operation.

H.323

The first VoIP standard to be developed is the umbrella standard known as ITU-T H323. H.323 is a version of the H.320 Multimedia-over-ISDN standard optimized for packet-based networks such as TCP/IP. H.323 is not specific to IP (it can also be used with AppleTalk and IPX). However, it relies on a number of significant IETF technologies, most notably the realtime protocol (RTP) and realtime control protocol (RTCP).

H.323's modularity makes it extremely flexible, particularly for joining an existing voice network to VoIP equipment. Figure 1, for example, shows a typical corporate telephone network composed of traditional analog technology. Figure 2 shows how H.323 components can replace some of components in this network, while preserving other portions of the analog network.

H.323, for the most part, has been met with ambivalence by VoIP solution providers. In fact, of the many VoIP products available today, only a handful supports any standards-based implementation. This ambivalence toward IP has raised some interoperability concerns.

For example, the H.323 call-setup negotiation routines require end-point systems to allocate random port numbers for the RTCP control channel and RTP data channel. While this approach promotes considerable portability across different kinds of packet-based networks, it makes implementing H.323 across an IP firewall challenging if not downright difficult.

Rather than using a well-known port for all voice traffic, every H.323 node on the network must listen for and send on any port number above 1,024. Most businesses find this approach untenable because it forces them to open their entire corporate network to all UDP and TCP traffic, placing their very raison d’être at risk.

The easiest workaround for this dilemma is to contain all H.323 traffic within a specific region of the corporate network. If traffic is filtered between an organization’s corporate backbone and its branch-office networks, the H.323 traffic can be contained within those sites, with voice trunks used for any interconnection services. Alternatively, an H.323-compliant firewall can be used.

Because H.323 has not been more widely adopted by the industry, you may want to consider limiting your VoIP implementations to a few key areas. Given H.323's modularity, you can replace only select components on your network.

For example, you might provide users in a new facility with VoIP equipment at the desktop, yet retain your existing PBX network at your corporate headquarters. Conversely, you might replace an outdated PBX cluster with IP-centric systems, while maintaining existing user-side equipment at the desktop.

Other VoIP standards

The less than total acceptance of H.323 as a VoIP standard has spurred the development of other emerging standards. One of these standards, called session initialization protocol (SIP), is currently under development. This standard is being developed within the IETF's Multimedia Working Group. SIP offers similar architectural features of H.323, with a particular focus on IP-specific technologies such as DNS. In addition, SIP incorporates the concept of fixed port numbers for all devices and supports proxy servers, both of which ease firewall implementations.

Another standard that had been gaining interest at the IETF was the simple gateway control protocol (SGCP). Developed by Bellcore, SGCP introduced a new call-management tier called the call agent. The call agent was designed to off-load much of the signaling intelligence from the end node, making this standard ideal for traditional telephone handsets. SGCP also promised to reduce delays associated with H.323’s use of signaling translators and TCP/IP.

A fourth standard making the rounds was the Internet protocol device control (IPDC). Developed by Level 3 and friends, IPDC was intended for use between centralized switches and IP-based gateways, providing large-scale integration and management.

Recently, the IETF formed the MeGaCo working group, which merged SGCP and IPDC into a unified standard called MGCP. MGCP was submitted to the IETF’s MeGaCo working group. Lucent Technologies submitted a third protocol, called media device control protocol (MDCP), and from these inputs emerged a new and improved protocol named MeGaCo protocol (also known as H.248).

SIP is currently in draft form and far from implementation, while MGCP is undergoing implementation and interoperability testing, with prototype testing and implementations occurring in selected organizations. Therefore, while only a small percentage of vendors support H.323, it's the only standard so far that guarantees interoperability.

Conclusion

There is no question that transmitting voice over IP-based data networks will become an enormously popular application — the cost-savings and rapidly improving technology are too compelling. Nevertheless, there remain significant questions about the viability of having voice carried over data networks that compete with data and video traffic.

There are several methods currently under discussion by VoIP equipment and service providers for improving quality of service (QoS) and providing customers with QoS guarantees. If implemented, these methods will improve the way that conversations in the VoIP environment sound, adding consistency to quality performance. This hurdle must be overcome before general business acceptance of outside enterprise intranets will occur.

For corporations interested in deploying VoIP technology, the success or failure of the venture will depend, in large measure, on the performance of the network elements that carry and route the voice packets. Therefore, organizations should not be hasty when deciding whether or not to implement VoIP. Every area of an enterprise’s network will be governed by individual factors that motivate (or discourage) the adoption of VoIP technologies.

Moreover, each portion of an enterprise network has its own issues that must be considered when planning a VoIP implementation. For instance, the opportunities to reduce costs in remote offices are not the same as they are for local users. Similarly, bandwidth and infrastructure requirements for a telecommuter or small office are radically different form those for a large office or campus. For these reasons, you may want to conduct a trial deployment to measure usage and other issues in your environment.

In the final analysis, the success of the industry hinges on the positive perception of people using telephones.

IF you have been thinking about accessing the Internet from your home, there are several options available in Malaysia.

These include traditional dial-up, ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line), and fixed wireless Internet access. These services are offered by various Internet service providers (ISPs).

The difference between these technologies lies in how fast data flows from the Internet, which is measured in kilobits per second (Kbps).

Dial-up connections are the slowest, with a top speed of around 53Kbps, while the others are broadband connections, which generally refer to Internet connections of approximately 512Kbps or faster – about 10 times the speed of dial-up.

Faster connections (bigger bandwidth) enable faster transfer and download of data from the Internet.

Depending on which option you pick, you will also need a phone line.

In terms of hardware, Internet access does not require a powerful computer, so any personal computer, notebook or Mac produced in the past four years should be sufficient for getting online.

In terms of software, you will need a web browser program such as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, which is included with Microsoft Windows, or Mozilla Firefox, which can obtained at http://www.getfirefox.com/ for free.

To send and receive e-mail you will need an e-mail program such as Microsoft’s Outlook Express (included with Windows), Qualcomm’s Eudora, or Mozilla Thunderbird.

Dial-up
Dial-up connections were the first Internet access technology available to home users in Malaysia, and they are still the most widely-used method for getting online.

Among the ISPs that provide dial-up connections are Telekom Malaysia with its TMnet 1515 service, Mimos Bhd with its Jaring service, and TIME dotNet Bhd with its TIMENet Dial-up service.

While it is relatively slow, dial-up Internet access does have a few advantages, namely, it is widely available, easy to set up, and is well established.

All you need is a dial-up account, a standard telephone line, and a modem for your computer.

However, it should be noted that dial-up Internet access is a “metered” service; there are local call charges and ISP charges, ranging from 2.5sen to 4sen per minute.

Some ISPS also offer “pre-paid” packages, which allow users to dial up for a preset number of hours per month.

ADSL
ADSL was the first affordable broadband technology to be made available to home users in Malaysia.

ADSL works on existing phone lines but it provides Internet access at much faster speeds than dial-up connections.

For most users who want ADSL at home, there is only one choice – Streamyx from Telekom Malaysia.

TIME dotNet does offer a DSL service called HomeNET, but so far it is only available in a few condominiums in Kuala Lumpur.

By comparison, Streamyx is available in most major cities and towns in all states.

To use Streamyx, subscribers need an account from Telekom, a network interface card (NIC) for their computer and an ADSL modem, which resembles an external dial-up modem.

Despite its “modem” moniker, an ADSL modem does not actually dial up to a telephone exchange. Instead, it connects the user’s PC directly to the Internet.

Streamyx customers also get a “microfilter” (also called an ADSL splitter), which separates voice and data signals on the phone line.

This allows users to make and receive phone calls even when the ADSL service is being used.

Streamyx’s unlimited access packages range from RM66 to RM99 a month, while metered access starts at RM44 a month for 60 hours usage (without modem).

Subscribers can get download speeds of 512Kbps or 1.0Mbps, depending on the package.

Fixed Wireless
A number of alternative broadband providers have appeared in Malaysia, and most of them have chosen fixed wireless technology to provide broadband to consumers.

Wireless broadband providers typically use MMDS (multi-channel multipoint distribution service) technology, which consists of a series of base stations that communicate via radio frequencies with subscribers’ PCs equipped with receivers.

The concept is somewhat similar to cellphone networks, with each wireless broadband base station able to provide coverage over a few square kilometres and serve thousands of users.

By going wireless, these companies effectively bypass the “last mile” barrier to home users.

The “last mile” or “local loop” is the connection from a telephone company’s switch or exchange point to fixed-line customers.

In Malaysia, practically all “last mile” connections are owned by Telekom Malaysia, and this is seen as a major hurdle for rival telcos and corporations that want to provide broadband access through fixed lines.

Among the companies hoping to challenge TM Net’s dominance in home broadband is TIME dotNet with its Webbit wireless broadband service, Mimos Bhd with its Jaring Wireless service, eB Technologies with its e-Buildings service, and NasionCom with its NasionCom Wireless Broadband service.

However, these fixed-wireless broadband providers are concentrated almost exclusively in the Klang Valley, though the companies all claim to have expansion plans for other areas in Malaysia.

The charges range from RM49 to RM218 per month, depending on the service package.

Although the industry remains as competitive as ever, more established service providers are beginning to tap into emerging technologies to bring more innovative and creative products into the market. As the market progresses to maturity, the industry continues to evolve, and with this evolutionary process, only the fittest and nimblest of the players will survive. Among the key findings in this analysis are:

While the VoIP industry contributed only 9.3% to the country’s voice telecommunication revenue in 2004, IDC expects this contribution to grow significantly, reaching 23.0% in 2009.

The VoIP industry in Malaysia was a total of RM539.5 million in 2004 and is expected to grow 20.6% in the subsequent year, against a 3.0% decline of the overall voice telecommunication industry. This industry is further expected to increase at 2004-2009 compound annual growth rate (CAGR) or 19.4% throughout the forecast period, reaching a total of RM1, 308.9 million in 2009.

The key area of growth lies with business users, where business usage is expected to increase at a 2004-2009 CAGR of 22%, although the residential business remains a strong contributor toward the industry’s overall revenue.

How does a T1 line work?

Most of us are familiar with a normal business or residential line from the phone company. A normal phone line like this is delivered on a pair of copper wires that
transmit your voice as an analog signal. When you use a normal modem on a line like this, it can transmit data at perhaps 30 kilobits per second (30,000 bits per second).

The phone company moves nearly all voice traffic as digital rather than analog signals. Your analog line gets converted to a digital signal by sampling it 8,000 times per second at 8-bit resolution (64,000 bits per second). Nearly all digital data now flows over fiber optic lines, and the phone company uses different designations to talk about the capacity of a fiber optic line.

If your office has a T1 line, it means that the phone company has brought a fiber optic line into your office (a T1 line might also come in on copper). A T1 line can carry 24 digitized voice channels, or it can carry data at a rate of 1.544 megabits per second. If the T1 line is being used for telephone conversations, it plugs into the office's phone system. If it is carrying data it plugs into the network's router.

A T1 line can carry about 192,000 bytes per second -- roughly 60 times more data than a normal residential modem. It is also extremely reliable -- much more reliable than an analog modem. Depending on what they are doing, a T1 line can generally handle quite a few people. For general browsing, hundreds of users are easily able to share a T1 line comfortably. If they are all downloading MP3 files or video files simultaneously it would be a problem, but that still isn't extremely common.

A T1 line might cost between $1,000 and $1,500 per month depending on who provides it and where it goes. The other end of the T1 line needs to be connected to a web server, and the total cost is a combination of the fee the phone company charges and the fee the ISP charges.

A large company needs something more than a T1 line. The following list shows some of the common line designations:

DS0 - 64 kilobits per second
ISDN - Two DS0 lines plus signaling (16 kilobytes per second), or 128 kilobits per second
T1 - 1.544 megabits per second (24 DS0 lines)
T3 - 43.232 megabits per second (28 T1s)
OC3 - 155 megabits per second (84 T1s)
OC12 - 622 megabits per second (4 OC3s)
OC48 - 2.5 gigabits per seconds (4 OC12s)

WHAT COULD WORK FOR 3G?

It’s often joked that the business model for 3G literally consists of 3Gs: girls, games and gambling. This is witty, but probably not true. Porn, games and gambling may be killer apps for the wired web, but they may not work as well for the wireless web, which is accessed through very small devices with tiny screens.

So what then could be viable business models for 3G? As mentioned earlier, a lot could be learnt from i-Mode as the principles are the same. But before we explore how lessons from i-Mode can be applied to 3G, it’s worth noting much expectation has changed in recent years.

At one time it was assumed that video conferencing would be the killer application for 3G. These days, nobody seriously thinks so anymore, at least not for the initial rollout. At the projected realistic data rate of about 40 to 60 kbps, the speed would be barely adequate for clear video transmission. Besides, video streaming would drain the battery very quickly. Lastly, video transmission won’t be cheap.

I’m not suggesting that no one would what to conduct mobile video conferencing. But it would be a limited market; perhaps businessman or rich kids with money to burn. We’re talking about a really niche group here, and you can’t build a successful business model around a small target market. So what can you do?.

One of the first things you must do is to understand the differences between fixed-line and wireless web. It’s way too simplistic to view the latter as just the mobile version of the former. Normal Internet web pages are made to fit a large screen. But mobile phone screens are tiny. People wouldn’t want to actually browse the web on their phones. …. (to be continue)
